Join us for our London Summer Roundtable
A unique opportunity to hear from Lord Peter Goldsmith KC, with a keynote, panel discussion, breakouts and networking drinks
Kindly hosted by Debevoise & Plimpton on Wednesday 10th June from 6 to 9pm, the In House Pro Bono Group invites you to come and discuss all things pro bono.
The session will open with a short keynote address from special guest Lord Peter Goldsmith KC, Chair of LawWorks, who will inspire us by outlining what he personally sees as the impact of the growth of in house pro bono and the business case for pro bono within in house legal teams.
This will be followed by a short panel discussion exploring what effective collaboration looks like between in house teams, law firms, and pro bono charities, with a focus on practical approaches, shared objectives, and lessons learned.
Attendees will then take part in breakout discussions tailored to the maturity of their pro bono programmes. Separate groups for those developing newer programmes and those with more established initiatives will provide an opportunity to explore barriers, share best practice, reflect on themes from the panel discussion, and exchange ideas with peers facing similar opportunities and challenges.
The roundtable will conclude with networking drinks.
We look forward to welcoming in house legal teams for an open and practical discussion on strengthening and expanding in house pro bono engagement.
